What is Play Therapy?
“Play is a medium for expressing feelings, exploring relationships, and self-fulfillment.” Garry
Landreth, Ed.D., LPC, RPT-S
Play was our first language for many of us when we were too young to speak. Children use play as
communication and expressing many thoughts, problem-solving abilities, and feelings. Play is
their language and the play shows strengths and obstacles your child may be experiencing.
What ages can benefit from Play Therapy?
All ages of those willing to play can benefit from the therapy.
What does it cost?
The cost depends on if you are utilizing insurance or paying a self-pay rate of $75 an hour per
individual session after the initial intake of $100.
What insurances are accepting currently?
As of right now we are accepting Aetna insurance.
